I am an Oxbridge non-native speaking Applied Linguist with 22 years of experience

I an a non-native speaking Applied Linguist and Teacher educator with a doctorate and three master's degrees (one graduate and two graduate degrees ) from three world-ranked universities. All three of my post graduate degrees fall within the domain of ELT (English Language Teaching) and SLTE (Second Language Teacher Education). I have taught in Pakistan and the UK and my expertise area is in tertiary education and for a majority of my 22-year career I have taught adults.
I have experience in designing and teaching on blended and online courses for teachers as well as other adult learners. My lessons tend to be task-based and skills-focused. I believe that creative and interactive lessons are necessary conditions for language learning be it second, foreign or additional language learning. The teaching awards I've been fortunate enough to be receive stand as testament to my commitment to my learners.
I am currently in Pakistan but am scheduled to leave for Oxford, UK beginning of March' 2024 to apply for a UK graduate visa. I looking for opportunities to contribute as an online tutor once I'm in the UK.
