Advert description
As a First-Class Chemistry graduate from the University of Oxford and an incoming DPhil student, I understand what it takes to succeed at the highest academic level. Alongside achieving a 78% average in my degree, I have extensive experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level Chemistry, ESAT preparation, and supporting students through the Oxbridge admissions process.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, master difficult concepts, or prepare for university admissions, I focus on building a deep understanding rather than relying on memorisation. My lessons are structured, engaging, and designed to develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and effective exam technique.
I currently tutor students applying for Natural Sciences and Engineering courses at Oxford and Cambridge, delivering one-to-one ESAT preparation, admissions coaching, and mock interviews. This experience has taught me how to identify gaps in a student's understanding and create targeted lessons that strengthen both subject knowledge and scientific reasoning.
For students applying to competitive universities, I also provide guidance on personal statements, admissions tests, and interview preparation. Having recently completed the process myself and worked with successful applicants, I can offer practical advice on communicating scientific ideas clearly and demonstrating genuine intellectual curiosity.
Above all, I want my students to leave every lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived. My aim is not only to help you achieve excellent results, but also to develop the skills and enthusiasm that will benefit you throughout your studies.
