My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's achieving top GCSE or A-Level grades, preparing for the ESAT, or applying to Oxford, Cambridge, or other competitive universities. Before we begin, I'll identify your strengths and the areas where you need the most support, allowing us to create a personalised plan that makes every lesson as effective as possible.

I believe students perform best when they truly understand the subject, rather than simply memorising facts. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual knowledge through clear explanations, worked examples, and guided problem-solving. We'll then reinforce this understanding using exam-style questions, helping you develop the confidence and technique needed to perform under exam conditions.

For admissions preparation, I offer support with ESAT Chemistry, interview practice, and personal statements. Drawing on my experience tutoring successful Oxbridge applicants, I'll help you communicate your scientific thinking clearly, tackle unfamiliar problems, and approach interviews with confidence.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves, creating an environment where mistakes become opportunities to learn.
