English tutor, available to work with all students + and common entrance to GCSE and A-Level

Steven Jackson is an English Teacher and author. He has been teaching in the classroom for over fifteen years and has rich experience, working with students from KS3 to A Level. He is an expert in poetry and Shakespeare: his academic textbook 'Write About Poetry' was published by Routledge in 2021. He teaches English Literature at GCSE and A Level, and English Language across the key stages. He is experienced in tutoring students for common entrance and Oxbridge applications, as well as 11+ and 13+. He also offers Classical Civilisation at GCSE. A prize-winning poet and published short story writer, he also teaches Creative Writing for the AFA course and, with a diploma from the College of Media and Publishing in Proofreading and Editing, he is keen to teach general writing skills, examination technique and essay composition to students across the age ranges.
