Advert description
Hi! I have a strong background in charcoal and drawing, and I work confidently across most fine art techniques, including painting, drawing, and mixed media. I'm also currently completing my master's in architecture. I achieved an A* in Art & Design at A-Level, and I've spent 3 years working at an art and design school and a year as an architecture mentor. Therefore, I have hands-on teaching experience with people of all ages, from children through to adults.
The first lesson is about understanding where you're at and what you'd like to achieve. Whether that's finishing a specific piece of coursework, learning a new technique from scratch, or getting exam-ready.
Levels taught:
•Primary school
•High school / GCSE
•Alevel
•Adults (beginner - intermediate)
One-to-one tutorials:
•Charcoal
•Drawing: observational, tonal, life drawing, still life
•Painting: acrylic / oil / watercolour / mixed media
•Collage and mixed media
•Composition and presentation
COURSEWORK & HOMEWORK SUPPORT
Help with ongoing GCSE and A-Level art coursework and homework. Developing a personal investigation / theme, meeting exam board requirements, and pacing your work toward deadlines and exam pieces.
SKETCHBOOK & PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT
Building up sketchbook pages, developing ideas visually, and presenting a cohesive final body of work. This is useful in particular for exam boards and for anyone considering art, design or architecture at the next level.
I love helping students find their own visual voice and building confidence to produce work they're proud of. I'm always more than happy to help. Just send me a message!
