Teaching manner is dependent on individual child's needs and term of understanding. Analogies, presentations, cue cards, games - it'd depend on the tutee and their learning technique. I believe building a good rapport and sharing positive feedback is important to maintain a tutee's focus and motivation to learn, whilst accounting for discipline and being aware of when to call it before burn-out. I'd consider myself extremely welcoming and easy to speak with, my lessons would be aimed at any child through to teenager; timid or confident. I've worked with vulnerable adults previously and have a great understanding on how to gain a collaborative foundation effectively with people of all backgrounds. Having completed GCSEs, A-Levels and a Bachelor's degree in Science whilst tutoring my peers throughout my studies, I've always enjoyed learning and helping others succeed. Biology, in particular, is a subject I am passionate about, and I find great satisfaction in making complex concepts engaging and accessible. I would love the opportunity to inspire that same enthusiasm and confidence in the next generation of learners.
