I offer engaging, personalised tutoring from KS1 through to KS4, using thematic and concept-based learning to help students develop both confidence and genuine understanding. My teaching is rooted in a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, alongside evidence-informed teaching pedagogy. Rather than simply teaching students to memorise information, I help them explore concepts in depth, make connections between subjects, and understand why they are learning something. I adapt sessions around each student’s interests, strengths and needs, using clear explanations, questioning, modelling and practical activities to make learning accessible and meaningful. My aim is to build trust first, create a positive learning relationship, and then challenge students appropriately so they can recognise and build on their own progress. Whether a student needs support with a specific curriculum area, confidence with learning, or help developing independent learning skills, I provide structured, bespoke sessions that meet them where they are and help them move forward.
