About my lessons 🧑🔬
I offer friendly, patient and personalised tutoring in A-level Biology and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
Having achieved an A* in A-level Chemistry and Biology, and A in Mathematics through independent study, I understand the challenges of learning complex scientific concepts, organising revision and preparing effectively for exams. I will draw on my own experience to help students develop a deeper understanding of their subjects, build confidence and approach exams with a clear strategy.
My Approach 🧪
- Clear explanations: Breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps and making them easier to understand.
- Personalised lessons: Adapting each session to the student's current level, learning pace and areas for improvement.
- Exam-focused practice: Working through exam-style questions, understanding mark schemes and learning how to structure answers effectively.
- Building confidence: Creating a supportive environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.
- *Effective revision strategies: Helping students identify knowledge gaps and develop a structured, manageable approach to revision.
