Advert description
Hello! I am a Newcastle University Law student offering flexible, experienced and affordable online A-Level Law tutoring. I am able to teach any English/Welsh Exam board's content. I have two years (cumulative) of teaching experience through both Tutorful where I also tutor A-levels, and the RAF Air Cadets, where I taught BTEC Aerospace Studies.
PART I: MY APPROACH TO CONTENT
My philosophy is simple: understanding beats memorisation. A-Levels are content-heavy, and trying to memorise everything is overwhelming, and near impossible. Instead, I help students grasp the core principles of a subject so they can apply logic to solve problems- a method that not only improves performance but also makes revision more manageable and meaningful, as the students can use this solid understanding to logically answer questions without needing to resort to pre-learned bullet-points.
That said, I know every student learns differently. That’s why my sessions are adaptive and tailored to individual needs, whether you're a visual learner, prefer structured notes, or thrive through discussion.
PART II: EXAM TECHNIQUE
Success in A-Levels isn’t just about knowing the content- it’s just as much about knowing how to approach the exam. I offer:
(i) Walkthroughs of past papers;
(ii) Marking and feedback on practice answers; and
(iii) Content lessons designed around exam questions
The dual focus on understanding and technique helps students feel confident, prepared, and in control.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
