Aspiring mathematics tutor for primary and secondary curriculums

I am a further maths and physics student, as well as an aspiring tutor. I’d like to utilise my knowledge to help struggling maths students achieve top-level grades and augment their confidence in the subject. I aim to inspire students to achieve their very best through patient, one-to-one tutoring, tailored to their personal needs. I want my students to not only replicate mathematical concepts, but to understand and value them. Through creative and contextual problem solving, alongside exam preparation and technique, I intend to nurture their self-assurance in maths and encourage them to attain the very best results that they can.
I strongly believe that with the right support and a solid foundation, every child has the potential to exceed in mathematics. Through my own experiences within education, I appreciate the impact that a nurturing and dedicated teacher can have on the motivation and grades of their students, and I’m grateful to have had such a positive experience throughout secondary school. It would be incredibly fulfilling to know that I had offered that same level of encouragement and support to other students who don’t feel too confident in their abilities.
