Tomos Lloyd

Hi, I'm Tomos, an Accounting student at Durham University with A* grades in Mathematics, Physics and ICT at A-level. I enjoy helping students gain confidence in subjects they find challenging and believe that with the right approach, anyone can improve.

My lessons are tailored to each student. I start by identifying the areas they find most difficult before breaking concepts down into simple, manageable steps. I use worked examples, exam-style questions and regular practice to build understanding and confidence.

Whether you're preparing for GCSEs or A-levels, my aim is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I focus not only on improving grades but also on helping students understand the reasoning behind what they're learning, so they can apply their knowledge independently in exams.

I'm friendly, patient and approachable, and I'll always adapt lessons to suit the student's goals and learning style.
