Advert description
I don't deliver dry academic lessons, and I don’t treat young people like boxes to be ticked. My focus is entirely on emotional, personal, and behavioral development.
I currently work within a large charity in Newcastle Upon Tyne, supporting 16-25 year olds who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Alongside this, I have extensive frontline experience working as a Special Needs teacher and within Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). My entire career has been spent on the ground with young people who don’t fit the usual mold. Whether your child is neurodiverse, navigating ADHD or autism, or exhibiting challenging behavior, I know exactly how to meet them where they are without judgment.
My mission is simple: to guide, support, and help young people unlock the potential the standard system often misses. I build genuine, authentic rapport with kids who have completely disengaged from traditional environments.
How I help your child:
Emotional Regulation: Teaching practical, real-world coping skills to manage frustration, anxiety, and anger.
Confidence & Self-Esteem: Creating a zero-pressure, straight-talking space where they feel heard, valued, and understood.
Navigating Transition Points: Using my current expertise with the 16-25 age gap to help them build the resilience needed to handle school, future employment, and life on their own terms.
If you are looking for a patient, grounded mentor who speaks to your child like a real person—not a project—let’s talk.
