As a native English speaker, I can help students with speaking. As a graduate of psychology, I can help with motivation

I have no experience teaching a language. However, I have been taught Japanese by a tutor to a level of intermediate skill, and can apply the same level of engagement and enthusiasm to students who wish to have a tutor as serious to teach as they are to learn. Lessons will involve lots of practice, and even more review. My Psychology degree taught me how our brains record information and how important it is to recall information before it is coded into memory.

Language learning is a monumental task. My own anecdotal experience learning a language and education will be helpful to those struggling to find time or motivation to keep going. I am patient, amicable, and willing to set aside time to plan lessons which will help students in speaking, writing, listening, or whichever field they feel needs the most attention, all the while making sure it is a fun experience.
