Interdisciplinary English Tutor for students K-12

I tutor students of varying grade-levels independently, serving as a guide through their school curriculums. I work closely with the student to ensure not only that they understand the material, but are confident in their own knowledge and capabilities. Different students learn in different ways, so I emphasize their individual strengths and interests so they will become independent, diligent, and passionate thinkers in life. I focus largely on improving reading comprehension and writing, which serves as a foundation for all other areas of study. I always maintain an empathetic, comfortable and communicative learning environment.
