Passionate Science & English tutor with 10+ years of experience, with students from diverse backgrounds & different academic needs. From KS3 to post-graduate level

Briefly, on my academic experience, I am a graduate in Biological Sciences (BSc Hons, Salford University) & Biotechnology (MPhil, University of Cambridge) with a passion for education.

I have always gained a lot of satisfaction seeing others develop - this has naturally led me into various teaching & mentoring roles. The tutor-tutee relationship is one I treat with a lot of respect, and one which I find really fulfilling! I have taught private 1-1 lessons for over 10 years, ranging from Key Stage 3 to undergradate/post-graduate Biology.

I take an individual approach with each of my students: I find it's critical to meet students where they are, and work towards their goals. Generally, I aim to help them build both a baseline level of knowledge & a deeper understanding of any subject which can then be applied to examination settings, coursework or to any specific interests.
