Maths Tutor for GCSE Online - Patient, Friendly & Experienced!

Advert description
Hello!

My name is Andy and I am a calm, friendly and enthusiastic Mathematics Tutor specialised in teaching 1-2-1 online lessons.

I am fully DBS (CRB) checked, with 10 years of teaching experience both in school and 1-to-1 (face to face and online).

I hold a 1st Class Honours Degree in the subject, plus 3 A-Levels and 8 GCSEs (A* - B, including Math’s and English).

I am currently offering lessons online via Zoom to help children reach their potential in the subject and to prepare them for their GCSE exam.

My approach is calm, friendly and structured to help students gain confidence and understanding through clear and patient explanations and guided practice.

As always, lessons will be planned according to the student’s needs and structured to be engaging and interesting so that the student retains what has been taught.

Past papers are used extensively to maximize the students experience and knowledge of exam style questions. Homework is given provided the student and parent/guardian are happy with this.

Recent students of mine have gone on to jump two levels above what was originally expected, for example: estimated level 5, obtained level 7 in the actual test.

Note that you will not need to commit to a fixed weekly day/time. Lessons can be booked as and when needed, especially given the circumstances.

Please feel free to contact me for a chat to discuss your child’s situation and requirements, or if you have any queries regarding the online teaching format.

I look forward to hearing from you :)

Andy
