Advert description
My approach is practical and built around you. Each lesson starts with what you want to make, whether that's drawing what you see, building confidence with paint, or developing work that looks like yours. You work through guided exercises, I demonstrate techniques at your side, and you get honest, constructive feedback as you go. You leave every session with something made and a clear next step.
What I teach: drawing, life drawing, illustration and acrylic painting. We cover observation, line, tone, composition, colour mixing and brushwork, and I adapt the pace to your level.
Lesson length: 60-90 minutes. Beginners often do best at 60, and longer sessions suit painting or larger projects.
Who it's for: complete beginners, returning hobbyists, developing artists and portfolio students, of any age. No experience or expensive materials needed to start.
Experience: I'm a practising visual artist working across drawing, painting, collage, weaving and installation. I bring that studio experience into teaching, mixing solid technical grounding with room to experiment and find your own visual language.
