Christina Clement

Hello! I’m Christina, a friendly and patient Art & Design teacher-in-training who loves helping young people build confidence and have fun while creating art. I have experience supporting students in secondary schools and enjoy making every lesson positive, engaging, and suited to each child’s abilities and interests.

My lessons are creative, supportive, and easy to follow. I always start by getting to know what your child enjoys, whether that’s drawing characters, painting, crafting, digital art or simply exploring new materials. From there, I plan activities that are fun, motivating, and designed to help them learn new techniques without feeling overwhelmed.

Each session includes step by step demonstrations, clear explanations, and lots of encouragement. I show students how to improve their drawing, colouring, shading, proportions, and imagination, all while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. I also help them build creative thinking skills by exploring ideas, storytelling, and trying out different art styles.

I adapt each lesson to match your child’s pace, learning style, and confidence level. For younger learners, I focus on playful activities that build fundamental art skills. For older children or teens, I can help develop technique, prepare school projects, or build an early portfolio.

My background in Animation (BA and MA) means I love bringing creativity to life, and children really enjoy learning how to design characters or create their own stories through art.

Above all, my aim is to help young students feel proud of their artwork, express themselves, and enjoy the process of learning. I look forward to helping your child grow creatively!
