Advert description
Struggling to make sense of GCSE or A-Level Chemistry? With the proper guidance, it can actually be engaging and fun to learn!
My name is Yan. I am a newly graduated Sixth-Form student who will be studying Biochemistry BSc at the University of Manchester.
I provide private lessons to younger students to support their development and confidence in Chemistry. As you may know, this subject can be particularly challenging for some students, as it involves conceptual understanding and the application of complex material.
My lesson structure involves slideshows, live digital annotation, and interactive questions to encourage engagement. I am also happy to share any recommended resources.
Regarding my background, I have a year's worth of experience as a Secondary Student Teacher Assistant in two classrooms. Due to my teaching experience, I can recognise the diverse needs of my students, allowing me to tailor my approach. Additionally, I have a proven academic record across GCSE and A-Level. Having gone through the same exams, I can acknowledge their pressure and ideal strategies for approaching them. My accredited grades are as follows:
- GCSE Triple Sciences: 9, 9, 9
- GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics: 9, 9, 8
- A-Level EPQ, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics: A*, A*, A*, A
Overall, my aim as a tutor is to make Chemistry feel manageable, straightforward, and enjoyable through interactive lessons and tailored sessions—helping students perform exceptionally well in their exams.
