Advert description
Are you or your child struggling to make sense of GCSE or A-Level Chemistry? With the proper guidance, you can ace exams and enjoy engaging in the subject!
My name is Yan. I am a graduated Sixth-Form student who is holding a global scholarship at the University of Manchester in STEM.
I provide private lessons to younger students to support their development and confidence in Mathematics. This subject can be particularly challenging for some students, as it involves conceptual understanding and the application of complex material.
My lesson structure involves slideshows, live digital annotation, and interactive questions to encourage engagement. I am also happy to provide homework and tailored resources.
Regarding my background, I have 3 year's worth of experience as a mentor and tutor for students. I assisted in a SEN department, supported a STEM class and prepared sixth-formers for their final exams. Due to my teaching experience, I can recognise the diverse needs of my students, allowing me to tailor my approach. My approach has a proven record, helping my students' grades increase to 9s and A*s. Having gone through the same exams, I can acknowledge their pressure and ideal strategies for approaching them. My accredited grades are as follows:
- GCSE Triple Sciences: 9, 9, 9
- GCSE MathematicFurther Mathematics and Statistics: 9, 9, 8
- A-Level EPQ, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics: A*, A*, A*, A*
Overall, my aim as a tutor is to make Mathematics feel manageable, straightforward, and enjoyable through interactive lessons and tailored sessions—helping students perform exceptionally well in their exams.
