Friendly, experienced English tutor with 2 degrees in modern languages and cultures!

Hello English learners, I'm Emerald! I'm from a small town on east-coast of England ⛵ but I've lived in Manchester for the last 5 years! 🏙️

English is my mother tongue but I also speak fluent French, thanks to studying modern languages and cultures at University. I have a real passion for education and I believe that learning about other cultures is very important and rewarding!

I work with the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, who deliver language programmes to students in Manchester. I have also been an online French tutor for the last 6 years. I have developed excellent professional relationships with my pupils and it's always a pleasure to see their language skills grow.

From personal experience, I know how hard learning a new language can be. In a lesson with me, we can have friendly general conversation to improve your everyday interactions in English, or we can do grammar activities together, or I can help you with exam preparation.
