Advert description
I have a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from Kingston University and a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design from Manchester School of Art, alongside experience supporting young people in both education and mental health settings.
I have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant supporting students across Art, Textiles, Maths, ICT, and other subjects, adapting learning styles to individual needs and helping students build confidence and engagement. I have also supported young people through creative community projects and wellbeing workshops.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalised. I focus on helping students feel comfortable experimenting creatively, improving technique gradually, and developing confidence in their own ideas. My background in mental health support and my future training in Art Therapy help me create a calm, understanding, and motivating learning environment where students feel supported rather than judged.
