delivring Biology online lessons through high professional using practical skilla

Advert description
I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Salahaddin University in Iraq in 1993. Inspired by my passion for genetics, I pursued a master’s degree in Biology at the same university and successfully graduated in 1998. Following my studies, I began my teaching career at Salahaddin University in 1998, where I taught biology courses until 2004. These years of teaching experience helped me develop effective instructional strategies and enhance a deep understanding of student learning needs.

In 2005, I relocated to Loughborough, United Kingdom, where I had the privilege of working as a volunteer and part-time lecturer at Arab schools. During this time, I taught biology-related topics to international students, enabling me to adapt my teaching methods to cater to diverse backgrounds, learning abilities, and cultures. This experience provided valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities associated with teaching a diverse student population.

In pursuit of further academic growth, I embarked on a Ph.D. journey in microbiology at a reputable university in Leicester from 2012 to 2017. Throughout my doctoral studies, I conducted extensive research on various bacteria and bacteriophages resulting in the publication of more than four papers. Simultaneously, I actively engaged in teaching-related laboratory sessions for first-year students, where I fostered a hands-on learning environment and nurtured students' scientific skills.

In recognition of my dedication to research and teaching, I was awarded the Daphne Jackson Fellowship in 2019. This fellowship allowed me to work as a part-time postdoctoral researcher while balancing family commitments. During this period, I continued my research endeavours, expanding my expertise in microbiology and attend a range of teaching courses Preparing Teach in HE courses (strand A and B). Additionally, I designed and delivered teaching sessions that complemented the curriculum and provided students with practical, real-world applications of biological concepts (BS1040 and BS2030 modules).
My combined experiences in teaching and research have equipped me with a unique skill set that enables me to effectively engage with students, foster their intellectual curiosity, and cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I am adept at tailoring my teaching methods to accommodate different learning style
