GCSE Biology - I achieved A* in my GCSES and A Levels and I can show you how!

Advert description
During my 3 years of Biology (and Chemistry) GCSE tutoring, I helped students of varying capability transform their grades: some students went from failing (grade 2) to passing (grade 5), other students went from grade 6 and 7 to grade 9s - one student even achieving over 90% in her exams. Teachers at school often only go over content with you - that was my experience, but they tend to neglect showing you the actual revision techniques used by A* students that have been scientifically proven to improve memory skills and exam technique. In year 10 I was a grade 5 in Biology, despite revising all the time, but having discovered these techniques myself, my grades exploded and I achieved grade 8 in Biology, grade 9 in Chemistry at GCSE - and in my A Levels I achieved an A* in Biology and an A in Chemistry. Now, I share these skills with my students and watch their grades soar.

I will go through the specification with my students, whilst of course tailoring each lesson to the individual students' needs. I do my lessons online over teams or zoom and I have a digital whiteboard app which I use to help explain complex issues and I am always communicating with my students to ensure we are working at their pace and that they understand the topics well. I split lessons between learning content and practicing exam papers and I offer assessments along the way, if requested. Having 3 years of experience, I am very familiar with the AQA, OCR and EDEXCEL specifications. If you would are interested in tutoring from me and would like to see proof of my A Level and GCSE grades, please contact me and I would be happy to share this information with you and discuss tutoring further. As we approach the summer holidays, I am looking to fill my schedule with tutees, my hourly rate is £20 and I look forward to hearing from you!

My daughter has been tutored by Rebecca for several years now and I can't recommend her enough! She's incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and knows exactly how to explain complex science topics in a way that actually makes sense. Whether it's biology or chemistry, she breaks everything down step-by-step and really helps build confidence. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your child’s progress and makes learning enjoyable she is the one to go to.
