Advert description
I have over 6 years of experience working with young people, students, diverse communities and international stakeholders across university, NGO, youth development and project environments. I bring strong communication, teamwork, organisation, facilitation and problem-solving skills, with experience creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
As a Youth Centre Manager, I supported over 150 young people, coordinating workshops, activities and stakeholder engagement. As a Project Manager on an EU-funded youth empowerment project, I coordinated activities, managed schedules and collaborated with partners.
My current role as a Community Organiser at the University of Derby Students’ Union has strengthened my ability to engage diverse students, organise activities and manage multiple priorities. My MA in Career Guidance and Development has further developed my knowledge of coaching, personal development, career development and supporting individuals through transitions.
I am also a certified trainer in Gender Roles and Stereotypes and have completed Erasmus+ Youthpass training in youth work. As a Chevening Scholar, I have gained further experience in international and multicultural environments.
I would bring an inclusive, practical and supportive approach to leadership tutoring, helping learners develop communication, teamwork, confidence, problem-solving, self-awareness and leadership skills.
