I am young professional with a passion for teaching mathematics, especially for students that feel like they have fallen behind

I am a private tutor with previous experience in teaching mathematics for various students at middle-school and high-school level. I have experience with Latvian national level mathematics (algebra and geometry), mathematical analysis, International Baccalaureate standard level mathematics, SATs and GMAT. Additionally, I have studied mathematics, statistics and statistical analysis at university level.
I use a mix of theory, practical examples, assisted and independent exercises to ensure that the students have complete understanding of the subject. I also provide small amounts homework to ensure that the student revises the topic but is not forced to complete large amounts of exercises that would make them actively dislike the subject or not be inclined to finish the homework.
I start with the basics and based on the students answers and ability to correctly complete exercises I move along in the topics to more advanced topics and exercises.
As a recent graduate I also have a clear understanding of how maximize chances of success or how to prioritize topics and exercises so that the student will have the best chances to reach the best possible score within a reasonable time limit. Depending on whether a student is aiming to achieve perfection or the best score they can I am able to tailor the study process to suit those needs and not waste time and effort on topics that may not be as relevant.
All my lessons are conducted online using Microsoft teams or Zoom and I utilize a canvas for notes that can also be shared after the lesson.
