I have experience supporting students in educational environments, including providing face-to-face tutoring in business studies, assignment preparation, career preparation, and university readiness. I have also worked as an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) Supervisor, where I supported students through the process of planning, researching, and structuring their independent projects. This involved guiding them in developing strong research questions, organising their work effectively, and building the confidence to present and defend their ideas. What I enjoy most about teaching is helping students move from uncertainty to understanding. There is a real sense of satisfaction in seeing that moment when something finally makes sense to a student and their confidence grows. Seeing that realisation on their face reminds me that I have helped make a meaningful impact on their learning journey. In my lessons, I focus on building both understanding and confidence. I start by understanding where the student currently is and what they need help with. From there, I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use clear explanations and practical examples to make ideas easier to understand. I also help students structure their assignments, develop their critical thinking, and prepare for academic or career progression. My goal is not just to help students complete their work, but to give them the skills and confidence to succeed independently in their studies and future careers.
