I use a baseline assessment to determine the level of my students and tailor my tutoring according to it. I focus on foundational skills in all maths topics. I also help students break down complicated word questions. When tutoring, I give my students the close attention that is not possible in bigger classrooms, encouraging vulnerability without judgment and a collaborative approach in problem solving.
