Hey I’m Stefano, I teach maths tutorials for Mathematical Modelling and Analysis I and II, working with first- and second-year undergraduates. Every week I help students take abstract theory and turn it into methods they can use with confidence, using examples and real-world applications.
My approach is simple. I break problems into clear steps, link the theory to real-world examples, and go at your pace. I never treat anything as “obvious.” Mistakes are welcome, because they show us exactly what to work on next.
I can help with university-level maths, including calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and mathematical modelling, as well as GCSE and A-level maths and physics. Whether you want to raise your grades, prepare for exams, or finally understand a topic properly, I’d love to help.
How a lesson works: We start by finding where you are and what’s holding you back. Then I explain the concepts clearly, using diagrams and worked examples, and we move on to guided practice so you can apply the ideas on your own.
Exam preparation: I can work with past papers and focus on exam technique, including how to set up problems, manage your time, and present your working clearly.
Teaching tools: I write out every step on a pen tablet, so you can watch solutions build up line by line, just like on a whiteboard. Short quizzes help check your understanding and pick out the topics we need to revisit, and you keep the notes from each lesson for revision.
