Spanish Tutor with 20 years of experience, professional teacher training and DBS

I find joy in supporting people to become confident language learners. My bespoke Spanish courses, available both face-to-face and online, enable young people and adults alike to take charge of their own learning and find fulfilment and enjoyment in their Spanish journey.
I bring more than 20 years of experience teaching, professional teacher training, an honours’ degree in philosophy with a specialisation in philosophy of language, and a distinction MSc from UCL. I have trained as a secondary teacher in Chile. Additionally, I hold a Spanish teaching qualification from Tía Tula in Salamanca to teach all levels from ELE A1 to C2.
I have vast experience and many success stories supporting students with exam preparation including DELE, GCSE and A levels. I am accustomed to helping students with additional educational needs.
I hold a recent DBS check and a Child Protection Awareness Level 1 certificate.
I am also a published author of poetry in both English and Spanish and I work as a professional translator and environmental consultant.
