I am a qualified primary school teacher with a PGCE and a degree in Psychology. I provide supportive, structured and engaging tuition to help children develop strong foundations in reading and literacy.

I specialise in helping younger children develop their phonics knowledge, recognise letter sounds, blend sounds into words and build confidence when reading.

My lessons can support children who are:
• Beginning their phonics and reading journey.
• Struggling to blend sounds and read simple words.
• Developing reading fluency and accuracy.
• Preparing for or settling into Reception and Year 1.
• In need of extra practice to reinforce classroom learning.

I tailor my lessons to each child’s current ability, using structured activities, repetition and engaging resources to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.

My aim is to help every child make progress at their own pace while developing the confidence and skills they need to become independent readers.

I offer face-to-face tuition and online lessons.
