I am a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher with QTS and a PGCE, with experience teaching French from Primary ange and GCSE/ A Level and over ten years’ experience supporting children and young people in education. As a bilingual French and English speaker, I can help you develop not only your grammar and vocabulary, but also the confidence to understand and communicate naturally in French. My lessons are tailored to your individual level, needs and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, a school pupil who needs additional support, preparing for GCSE/ A Level French, or simply want to improve your conversational French, we will work from a clear starting point and build your skills progressively. I use structured explanations, speaking practice, modelling, repetition and retrieval activities to help you remember what you learn and use French confidently. For school pupils, I can also identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted support with reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar. Most importantly, I aim to create an encouraging environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and seeing your progress. Lessons will be purposeful and challenging, but adapted to your pace and learning style.
