I am a passionate and dedicated maths tutor who wants to help students improve their understanding, confidence and overall performance in mathematics. I understand that every student learns differently, so my aim is to make maths approachable by providing clear explanations, patient guidance and lessons that are completely tailored to each student’s individual needs.
I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and went on to achieve an A* in A-Level Maths, giving me a strong understanding of the subject and the skills required to succeed in exams. I have also participated in multiple maths competitions, which have developed my problem-solving, logical-thinking and analytical skills. These experiences have taught me how to approach unfamiliar and challenging problems, break them down into manageable steps and find effective solutions. I believe these skills are particularly useful when tutoring, as maths is not simply about memorising formulas, but understanding how and why different methods work.

My tutoring approach focuses on 1-to-1 lessons that are completely tailored to your needs. Every student has different strengths and weaknesses, so I will first identify the areas you are confident in and the topics you find most challenging. Lessons can then be structured around your personal goals, whether that is improving your understanding of a particular topic, catching up on missed work, preparing for exams or working towards a specific grade.
