Rasika Kara

I am an experienced and dedicated Maths Tutor with over 15 years of teaching and coaching experience, working with students aged 5 to 16 from across the world. My goal is to help every student build confidence in maths, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their full potential.

Having worked with Thinkster Maths for 11 years and now as a self-employed tutor, I have supported hundreds of students through personalised lesson plans, exam preparation, and schoolwork support. I am passionate about making maths engaging and accessible, whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming to excel at a higher level.

In addition to tutoring, I bring valuable experience from running my own education and business ventures, giving me strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Parents appreciate my friendly and approachable manner, clear progress updates, and ability to adapt lessons to suit each child’s unique learning style.

Outside of tutoring, I actively volunteer as a youth leader at my local Temple, where I organise educational and cultural programmes for young people. This has given me further insight into motivating, mentoring, and inspiring students of all ages.
