I would begin by looking through the curriculum for the subject I am tutoring in before identifying the weak areas within the student’s knowledge. I would use questions from that topic and see their thought processes and find where they get confused or do not particularly understand. Then to build their confidence and ensure their understanding, I would find similar questions ranging in difficulty. While teaching I would make sure to articulate myself in a manner that is clear and easy to follow to prevent confusion.
