I am currently studying for my A-Levels and I am looking for part-time tutoring! I offer both in-person and online tutoring, whichever is more suitable for your child's needs, for primary school children in London and Hertfordshire, with a focus on building strong foundations through patience, clarity, and encouragement. Over the past year, I’ve volunteered weekly at a local primary school with Year 1 students at a local primary school, gaining valuable classroom experience and a deep understanding of how to teach young children and prevent confusion and frustration.

My teaching style is structured yet engaging. I would begin by reviewing the school curriculum to understand exactly what your child is learning in class. From there, I would identify any weak or confusing areas and break them down into manageable steps. Following this, I would then explain each concept slowly and clearly, using simple language to ensure full understanding.

It is vital that each lesson is interactive and positive- without creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere, children may not feel confident and motivated. Once your child grasps the basics, we’ll practice similar questions that gradually increase in difficulty, reinforcing the topic while gently stretching their skills.

Whether your child needs help with reading, writing, spelling, maths, or general confidence, I tailor every session to their pace and personality. My goal is not just to teach but to inspire a love of learning that lasts beyond our lessons.
