Primary Maths and English Tutor based in SW London. 10 years of Primary teaching and 6 years of tutoring

I am a dedicated and experienced Maths and English Tutor with over five years of tutoring experience and more than ten years of teaching experience, supporting children to build confidence, strengthen key skills, and achieve their academic goals. As a qualified primary teacher, I have extensive experience working with pupils across a range of abilities and backgrounds, helping them develop a strong foundation in both subjects through personalised and engaging lessons.

My tutoring approach is centred on understanding each learner’s individual needs and adapting teaching methods to suit their learning style. In Maths, I help pupils develop fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, ensuring they gain confidence in key concepts and can apply their knowledge independently. In English, I support reading, comprehension, grammar, spelling, creative writing, and literacy development, helping pupils become confident and capable communicators.

I have experience supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and visual impairments, and I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive. Through tailored lessons, clear explanations, and regular encouragement, I help students make meaningful progress while fostering a genuine enjoyment of learning. My aim is to build confidence, independence, and lifelong learning skills that extend beyond the classroom and support long-term academic success.
