My name is Henry Xie, I am 18 years old. I am from China GuangZhou, despite my ethnic background I am a fluent English speaker. I have participated in 4 nationally and an internationally scaled art competition and have received good placement in all of them.
I have 11 years of art experience and have tutored professionally for four years with students of various skill levels, ages and personal choice of artstyles.

I usually focus specifically on developing the student's level of skill in their preferred style of art and teach them new techniques (e.g. hatching, negative and positive spaces, contrast etc.). My lessons range from a length of 30 minutes to 1 hour and I only teach on weekends. I have a grade 9 qualification in my Art GCSE and have deep understanding of the entire courseworks (such as what the examiners are looking for in an artist research etc.). Personally, I will recommend students ranging from the ages of 6-14 to attend my lessons, they can be people who do art as a hobby or subject in school/GCSE.
