Hi! I’m Fazila, an artist with a background in Fine Arts and experience teaching children and adults. I work with drawing, painting, colour, printmaking and mixed media. My lessons are friendly and tailored to your age, skill level and interests. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve, I’ll guide you through practical exercises, help you develop your techniques and encourage you to explore your own artistic style.
We’ll work at your pace, with step-by-step guidance, constructive feedback and plenty of room to experiment. You can ask questions freely, learn from mistakes and discover what makes your art unique. My goal is to help you grow as an artist while enjoying every step of the creative process!
My work has been exhibited at Tower Gallery, the University of East London and Both Gallery. I also took part in the exhibition Too Ugly to Show, curated by Lois Doo, and presented my work in the UEL MA Fine Arts Interim Exhibition, where I independently managed my exhibition space and incorporated live performance into my artistic practice. These experiences have helped me explore different ways of presenting art and communicating ideas through visual expression.
Some of the series I created and exhibited this year are: "Landlady Issue", "Yearning: In Search Of The One", "Who Killed Johnny", and "Those Moments Of Separation".
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience. Teaching is one of my most preferred way to do it. My second preferred way is to post my art processes and explanations on social media. You may visit @fazilasartistry on Instagram to understand my art-style.
