I like to start by figuring out where a child is at and what they need help with. From there, I plan lessons that fit their level and pace. I keep things clear and simple, using examples they can relate to and activities that keep them interested. Reading, writing, and short tasks are part of every session to keep things moving. I check progress often and give feedback in a way that encourages them instead of stressing them out. I also make it a point to celebrate small wins because that builds confidence. And I stay in touch with parents so we're on the same page and learning continues at home.
