Advert description
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Global Development at SOAS University of London. Since February 2024, I have been engaged in an internship with the ISEAL Alliance. Alongside this, I am contributing as an assistant qualitative researcher to a PhD student of University of Cambridge, where my responsibilities include conducting interviews and fieldwork.
My academic journey began with an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Following this, I gained practical experience as an assistant manager in a logistics company.
My passion for social change led me to immerse myself in various social work endeavors from my second year of undergraduate studies. I actively participated in fundraising campaigns under the guidance of a university professor and volunteered with a group dedicated to locating blood donors. Additionally, I have taught English to school and high school students in Bangladesh as a home tutor for several years. My IELTS score overall is 7.5, which corresponds to CEFR Level C1.
I believe communication is my strongest skill. My enthusiasm for life and knack for multitasking help me in diverse roles. Additionally, I am fluent in two languages besides English: Bangla and Hindi. I find immense joy in social interactions and firmly believe that my enthusiastic nature and interpersonal skills can contribute significantly to the applied job.
I have a deep passion for literature, encompassing both fiction and nonfiction genres. Couple of my articles have been published in The Daily Star, the leading English daily in Bangladesh.
