Advert description
About Me
I am a qualified engineer holding both an MSc and BEng in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Greenwich, accredited by the IET and IMechE. My studies covered everything from engineering mathematics and classical mechanics to advanced research — my MSc thesis involved the synthesis of endohedral nitrogen fullerenes for atomic clock applications, in collaboration with the University of Oxford and Lancaster University. I am also completing certifications in Fluid Dynamics (University of Leeds) and Quantum Computing (UCL). I am fluent in English, Arabic, and Greek, allowing me to support students from a wide range of backgrounds.
How I Teach
My approach is built on one belief: confusion is simply a signal that a concept has not yet been connected to something the student already understands. My job is to build that connection.
Every lesson starts with an honest assessment of where the student stands. I identify the specific gaps holding them back and address those directly before moving forward. I use visual explanations, worked examples, and real-world applications to make abstract concepts feel tangible for instance, connecting force diagrams to how bridges and engines actually work, rather than treating them as isolated exercises.
I place great emphasis on problem-solving technique. Maths and physics are learned by doing, not reading. Students work through problems actively in every session, building the habit of independent thinking rather than memorising steps they do not fully understand.
