Maths & Science Tutor – KS3, GCSE & A-Level

Hello! I'm Jenna, I have a Masters Degree in Chemistry and have more than 2 years experience private tutoring in Maths and Science.

I have a Master’s degree in Chemistry and also began a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry. Alongside my academic background, I worked for several years as a software engineer, which strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills. Over the years, I’ve privately tutored students aged 11 to 18 in Maths and Science, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.

In my lessons, I focus on creating a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I adapt my teaching style to each student and break difficult concepts down into simple, understandable steps. I especially enjoy helping students who feel anxious or lack confidence in these subjects.

Ultimately, the best way for students to learn is to make mistakes and ask as many questions as possible. I incorporate a lot of past paper exam questions as the basis to test the students knowledge and learn from any mistakes in the questions they get wrong. It's such a surefire method to help them learn and also perform really well in exams.
