Advert description
I have over two years of hands-on experience teaching Mathematics and English to primary and secondary students, delivering both one-to-one and small group lessons. I’ve worked with students aged 7–16 across different ability levels, from those struggling with fundamentals to those aiming for top grades. My focus is always the same: build strong foundations first, then develop accuracy, speed, and confidence.
In Maths, I teach arithmetic, fractions, percentages, algebra, geometry, statistics, and exam techniques. I don’t rely on memorisation. I break problems down step-by-step so students understand the logic behind every method. Once they understand the “why,” their performance improves naturally. I use structured practice, targeted questioning, and regular mini-assessments to identify gaps quickly and fix them before they grow.
In English, I work on grammar, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, essay structure, and creative writing. I teach students how to organise their thoughts clearly, write structured answers, and analyse texts with confidence. Many students lose marks not because they lack ideas, but because they don’t know how to present them properly. I fix that.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and results-driven. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style. I set clear objectives, track progress consistently, and give honest feedback. If a student isn’t improving, I change the approach — not the expectation.
Parents trust me because I focus on measurable progress. Students trust me because I make difficult topics manageable and remove the fear around them. My goal is not just better grades, but independent learners who can solve problems confidently on their own.
