University student with two years' experience in providing extensive academic support to GCSE and A-Level students.

I achieved all 9s at GCSE, including English and Maths, and 3 A*S at A-Level, including Maths, Chemistry, and Geography.

During my time studying, I was fortunate enough to have wonderful teachers who targeted the understanding of the subject rather than feed me methods and rigid structures on particular types of questions, which led me to have a deeper appreciation for the subject and allowed me to access the top grades, as I not only understood the subject better but I started to enjoy it a lot more. I hope to bring the same experience to others and help them reach their full potential, because everyone deserves a chance and effective guidance.

I believe the key to doing well in a subject is truly understanding it rather than memorising numerous methods, so students can perform to the best of their ability. My lessons include plenty of resources and support to help students build confidence so they can succeed.

I encourage students to ask questions and seek help, and I take a friendly approach to help them feel comfortable and more confident in themselves.

I also offer support in the wider academic environment and am more than happy to give advice on overall methods and attitudes to revision and getting through school as a whole!
