Law student teaching English and helping English language learners improve fluency and confidence at all levels!

Hi! I’m Yusra, a friendly and supportive English tutor based in London, offering personalised lessons for students and English language learners of all levels.

I am currently studying Law at King's College London and have a strong academic background in English, achieving an A* in IGCSE First Language English, an A* in GCSE English Literature, and a 6 in IB Higher Level English Language and Literature (equivalent to an A in A-level). English has always been one of my favourite subjects, particularly essay writing, literature analysis, and public speaking, which inspired me to begin tutoring.

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals and learning style, whether that involves improving conversational English, preparing for GCSEs, developing essay-writing skills, strengthening grammar and vocabulary, or building confidence in speaking and writing. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace.

Outside of academics, I enjoy basketball, reading, journaling, travelling, and meeting people from different backgrounds, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and an appreciation for different learning styles.

My lessons are suitable for KS3 and GCSE students, international and ESL learners, beginners to advanced English learners, and adults looking to improve their conversational or professional English.
