Inspiring Cello Teacher providing lessons at my home or online

I am a cello teacher with 8 years of teaching experience.
My teaching style is versatile, and is founded on the concepts of Suzuki and Kodály techniques. Technique is important to me, but so is ear-training. Playing by ear, and improvising are included in my lessons right from the get- go. I also ensure my students become confident and fluent in reading sheet music.
I believe in exploring different genres of music, so as well as teaching classical cello, I love to branch out and have fun with more modern and popular styles of music too.
I have taught in a variety of contexts including: privately at my home in SE London, I have volunteered as a music teacher in Kampala, Uganda and I work for the charity Music Masters as a Lead Cello Teacher in central London.
