I have experience as a private tutor of English Literature and Language GCSE, this is one-one-one online tuition with a focus on personalised feedback and discussion of essay planning and writing. As a Comparative Literature student I am passionate about the study of books in both the english languages and foreign languages in translation, exploring other cultures through their literary canon. I am also learning German as a second language as part of my degree, which has given me a first hand insight into the process of learning a language from scratch. This has highlighted the importance of teaching the fundamentals of a language, such as grammar and essential vocab, as well as the necessity of speaking practise. I would love to support others in their learning of english, whether it be their second or native language, speaking practise or the analysis of literature, as I believe this really plays to my strengths.
