I have over ten years experience as a language teacher (Spanish and English). I have a masters in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and a PGCE in Secondary MFL. I have four years experience as an EAL Coordinator, teaching English to students who are new to English and preparing students for all levels of ESOL exams. I also have experience of supporting more advanced learners for GCSE and teaching English as an L2 to Chinese undergraduate students at the University of Essex. My wide range of experience has equipped me with a vast range of materials and approaches depending on the students' abilities and interests. I have a friendly, approachable demeanour and I set clear targets for learning and apply these long term as well as short term each lesson. I provide regular constructive feedback, keeping in mind each student's targets and what they need to do achieve their individual goals.
