Grade 9 GCSE & A* A-level maths tutor, UCL student, friendly lessons from primary to GCSE

Hi, I’m Rahin! I’m a Data Science student at UCL, and I previously studied Physics at Imperial. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and A*s in A-level Maths and Physics, plus an A in Further Maths.

I tutor maths from primary school (KS1) up to GCSE, with four years of in-person tutoring experience, both professionally and privately. On average, my students improve by 1–2 grades.

My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to each student. In our first session I’ll find out where you’re confident, what you find tricky and what you’re aiming for, then plan lessons around that. I explain ideas clearly, using visuals and real-life examples, and focus on understanding why methods work so they stick under exam pressure. We then build up to exam-style questions, with tips on exam technique and time management.
