Grade 9 Edexcel French graduate teaching GCSE French with secondary school teaching assistant experience

Hi! I’m a GCSE French tutor with a strong passion for helping students build confidence and succeed in their exams. Having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE French (Edexcel) and worked as a French teaching assistant in a secondary school, I understand both the exam requirements and the challenges students face in the classroom. I know that learning a language can feel stressful or intimidating at times, so I aim to create a calm, friendly environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
I tutor GCSE French, supporting students with grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, writing, and speaking, as well as exam technique specific to the Edexcel specification. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs - whether that means strengthening core language skills, improving exam performance, or boosting confidence in speaking and writing. My goal is not just to help students memorise vocabulary, but to truly understand how the language works so they feel confident tackling any exam question.

I break down tricky grammar points into clear, manageable steps and reinforce learning through guided practice and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions and actively engage in lessons so we can work through difficulties together.
